About us
Xtremevan (Camper Conversions Leicestershire) began in 2010 as a side project driven by a passion for the camper conversion market. What started as a hobby quickly grew thanks to a deep enthusiasm for the industry and knowledge of current trends, like the power distribution units used in horse boxes. Recognizing the potential for expansion, we shifted our focus to smaller leisure vehicles, such as T4s and T5s, which allowed us to supply more products and services to meet the needs of the growing market.
With nearly 30 years of experience in senior management roles within the automotive industry, we understood exactly what was required to provide exceptional service and high-quality products at affordable prices. Over time, we began supplying both trade customers and the public, expanding our range of products based on customer feedback. We’re proud to work with top brands like Smev, Waeco, Calibre Wheels, and Vango, along with other well-known names such as CBE, all of which help us offer products that allow you to create your own Xtremevan. Whether you’re doing your own conversion or seeking advice on products, we’re here to help, with a network of trusted traders to support you if we can’t meet your needs.
In 2019, Xtremewake was born—a watersports centre located in the heart of Northamptonshire. What started as another hobby quickly grew into a thriving family-run business, offering a wide range of activities like boat wakeboarding, wake surfing, cable wakeboarding, an aqua park, stand-up paddleboarding, and open water swimming. The park became a popular destination for all levels of riders, with support from our trained team and even Team GB riders. As we were getting Xtremewake up and running, we also began producing plastic welded ramps and rails for the park, which led to the creation of Xtreme Features. This new venture quickly found a place in the dry slope ski industry, supplying features for venues like Chemey Allcot and Jamie Nichols.
2023 brought a new chapter with the launch of Xtreme Garage Services, based in Great Oxendon, Market Harborough. An exciting opportunity arose to set up a garage and MOT centre at the same location as Xtremevan, so we embraced it and started building the brand from the ground up. Our goal was to provide dealer-level expertise without the premium price tag, offering a clinically clean workshop and top-notch customer service, just like when we first started. This expansion meant we could now offer full mechanical services, alongside all of our other ventures.
However, by the end of 2024, the camper conversion market faced significant challenges. The industry was becoming increasingly difficult, and the long hours across all areas of the business started to take a toll on my family life. Despite our best efforts, things didn’t improve at the start of 2025, and I realized a change was needed. After evaluating the entire business, we decided to step away from the camper conversion side of Xtremevan and focus on the mechanical services and other aspects of the brand, including our work at the garage and the lakes. To ensure the business continues to thrive, I’m excited to introduce my daughter, Lillie, who is stepping into my shoes to help take Xtreme to the next level.
At Xtreme, we remain a family-owned and operated business, driven by strong family values. We are incredibly grateful for the support and loyalty of our customers, suppliers, friends, and family throughout our journey. Together, we will continue to grow and evolve in new and exciting ways.
